Decentralized CM and moderation
If your squad feels called to lead the Nym community in your area or language, this grant is for you. As the stewards of your groups and channels, your squad will be responsible for:
● Keeping your channels clean and safe: Proactively removing spam, scammers, hateful content, and anything inappropriate.● Keeping your community informed: Sharing all Nym-related news and updates in your channels.● Providing support and thought leadership: Answering community questions, sharing knowledge, building a sense of community, and fostering meaningful discussions.● Organizing community events in your language: Community calls, contests, meetups, Twitter spaces with notable guests, or anything else your community desires.● Recruiting Nymsters: Onboarding the next Nym node operator, builder, or squad lead into your community and involving them in NSL.● Growing your community: Tailoring Nym’s message and vision to your region and language, helping your community achieve great things together.
Rewards
This grant lasts for a season (3 months) and is renewable. Responsibilities are grouped into three milestones, and squad performance is evaluated individually for each milestone to determine rewards.
The maximum reward your squad can earn is 15,000 $NYM for the season, with the following milestone breakdown:
● Moderation: Max. 5,000 NYM● Community management and activation: Max. 5,000 NYM● Growth: Max. 5,000 NYM
Channels
The channels your squad will manage include:
● Regional Nym Telegram groups.● Regional Nym Telegram announcement channels.● Regional Nym Twitter accounts.● Language channels on Discord.
You may also create and manage additional channels on other platforms if relevant for your language or region.
Who Can Apply
Any squad can apply for this grant. However, keep in mind the following:
● Your squad’s resume: Members of your squad should already be among the most active and helpful in your regional channels.● Existing Nym channels: Your channels must be official Nym channels or aligned with Nym’s standards. If such channels don’t exist yet, your squad can collaborate with Nym’s team to establish them.● Actionable goals: Your proposal should outline clear objectives for community engagement and growth.

● Your experience in building or running communities online.● Ideas for creating content and engaging your audience.● Current size and expected growth of your community channel.● An action plan for the next three months.● Promised metrics.
