NSL contributions
BWNym has created a number of Spanish-language guides for the Nym community, including instructions on how to migrate Mixnode and Gateway to a new VPS, configure Gateway, and unblacklist it. The team has also updated the Spanish-language Gitbook, including the ‘Nym: Guía de Usuario’ section to make it easier for developers and users. This work contributes to the accessibility of materials for the Spanish-speaking audience and the promotion of NYM technologies.
BWNym hosted a workshop for final year telecommunications students at the University of Cuenca in Ecuador on 18 September 2024, dedicated to the topic of privacy and the Nym approach. Participants learned about the importance of privacy as a right, surveillance, how mixnet works, the Nym token, incentives, node setup, the Nym community, and NymVPN. The event helped raise students' awareness of privacy technologies and their practical applications.
BWNym organised an interview about NymVPN as part of the W3BTR3S programme on Atlixco Radio, which was broadcast on 26 March 2025. In the 31st episode, the participants discussed NymVPN's capabilities, focusing on the Web3, blockchain and privacy technologies that Nym offers. The programme, available on Facebook, aims to promote innovative solutions among listeners interested in digital technologies.
BWNym handled the decentralised management and moderation of Nym's Spanish-language community, translating posts from the English account X to @espanolnym and creating their own content. The team moderated the Spanish-language channels on Telegram and Element, spreading news, answering questions and creating a safe environment, as well as helping to resolve issues with nodes and NymVPN. The work contributed to maintaining an active and informed community in the Spanish-speaking segment.
